Ruth had me when she emphasized the frustration of women exerting themselves on objects with the phrase, “She kneaded dough with more force than necessary.” It’s bitterly true, funny, and sad simultaneously, moving on along the pages, I subsided this sympathetic state towards women to see the picture from men’s point of view; they also need to be heard as much as we do and that we both need to vent out the explosives of emotions in conversations and confront our partner rather than trying our strength on things around us.

I ADORE this book! It’s like a pat on the back for those who do not feel heard and a gentle reminder that you also deserve to be attended.

This book has truly helped me form a better connection with my partner. I had a feeling that something was lacking, but I couldn’t quite understand what it was until I read this amazing book. It made me reflect on ourselves and how we approach our discussions. We all need to take a step back and understand that life is tough for all of us. It takes two to make a relationship work, and that requires listening intently without getting aggressive or storming off. This book has been a real eye-opener for me.

I respect the author for trying to highlight the very important points to make a relationship sustain and blossom and for making an effort to create one guide for it when they didn’t have a guide or a book that explained these differences.

The most interesting part is the title of this book itself: “Mantrum.” According to the author, these are the subtle tantrums present in their husband. It makes you realize how much they wanted to know and learn about their partner and that they noticed the smallest shifts in their partner’s mood, which is a big thing and a new way of looking at things from a humanitarian point of view.

This guide is like a reminder that in a relationship, you’re both rowing the boat of your life together, but you must not forget to be gentle down the street. Life may seem like a pretty dream, but you have to make this dream become a good one together with a bit of gentleness and some effort along the way.

This book is super interesting when it comes to relationships. It really helps you see things from your partner’s point of view and shows how important it is to talk things out. Plus, it highlights the whole empathy thing, like how supporting each other is totally crucial for making a relationship last.

Take my word for this book: It’s a thought-provoking read that challenges conventional views on love and connection. It emphasizes the necessity of active listening and shared effort. In the end, what do you have? A healthier, more harmonious dynamic between partners.
